This design is vastly used and well known by the BDSM communities on the internet and can finally be purchased for display. For the first time, anyone within the Fetish, Kink, Leather, or BDSM communities, or an interest in the lifestyle, have the ability to identify themselves to each other.
What does this BDSM Emblem mean?
The three divisions represent the various threesomes of BDSM. First: the three divisions of BDSM itself: B&D, D&S, and S&M. Second: the three-way creed of BDSM: Safe, Sane, and Consensual. Third: the three divisions of the community: Tops, Bottoms, and Switches.

If TrixGraphix.com has contributed anything to the community, it has been helping get this design out in the world. This design was our first ever customer request and actually first started off as a two color design that we started selling on eBay in 2005. When we got the request from the customer we began searching for the image and found a very nice ring with the design. I traced the image with Adobe Illustrator to get it just right. The two colored design was sold for a short period of time. It was just to hard to accurately make the two colored decal so I simplified it into the single color that it is now. Now both the two colored (black on gray) and this single colored design can be seen all over the internet.
The BDSM design actually originated from the efforts of Quagmyr on an AOL bulletin board around 1994 . More information can be found at http://emblemproject.sagcs.net/
